Witnesses have seen Brown park his Bugatti Veyron, and also a Range Rover, in handicap spots, located in a garage near his West Hollywood, California, building. You’d think the guy could afford to build his own garage.

Brown’s lawyer states the rapper was entitled “to a couple extra parking spaces as part of his condo agreement,” and the landlord neglected to inform him they are marked as handicapped spaces.

A condo… really Chris Brown? That check from the film Takers still hasn’t arrived?

Brown’s neighbors are preparing to bring the issue to court.

We thought the answer would be “godlike,” but no. It is, according to the man who drove the world’s fastest production car to that insane velocity, exciting, stressful and a wee bit frightening. More than that, though, it is a state of mind, one where you accept the very real possibility it could end badly. Very, very badly.

“It’s basically a mental exercise,” Bugatti test driver Pierre Henri Raphanel told 0-60 Magazine. “Physically, you have to do nothing more than to keep your right foot flat out. But at that speed, if anything happens, you can be sure that you won’t be coming back to the pits to tell what was the problem. And that is what is making the pressure, the excitement.”

The stress of moving more than 4.5 miles a minute is so great, Raphanel said, he had trouble sleeping the night before the June 24 run in a Veyron 16.4 Super Sport. And the adrenaline of having pushed a 1,200-horsepower car to its absolute limit made it tough to sleep for two days afterward.

Things happen very quickly at 393 feet a second, and you aren’t entirely in control of the car. It begins to take on a mind of its own north of 250 mph, Raphanel said.

“When you start to go 260, 265, 270 the car is a little bit following where the tarmac is telling to the car to go,” he says. “And it’s a strange feeling because you are not really in control as a driver. You don’t know where it’s going to end up.”

And at that moment, we’d bet, you never feel more alive.

In the same way Fox goes batshit crazy getting Family Guy episodes off websites – which is really annoying for us modern “doesn’t own a TV” people. But I digress…Conan has been ripping NBC a new one the past week or two – ever since they decided to can his skinny behind off his newly acquired 11:30pm time slot and replace him with Jay Leno’s old news. To get back at his parent company, Conan began his Ridiculously Expensive joke skit, featuring new characters that may not be very comical, but cost the network millions. This week: The $1.5 Million Bugatti Veyron Mouse. I’ll try posting a video here, if NBC kills it, click the link below:

For those who are clueless – the Bugatti Veyron is known for being one of the most over-priced and luxurious sports cars in the history of automobiles.

Bugatti Veyron Goes for a Swim

Someone did not inform this Bugatti driver their new roadsters don’t float. The lake crash of a $1.6 Million Dollar luxury sports car had automotive enthusiasts shouting “Mama Mia!!” – The accident occurred in Southeast Texas – which leaves us with about 1.6 million redneck jokes to make, oddly enough. According to one local news report: “The man, who refused to give his name, was looking at real estate in Galveston. About 3 p.m. a low-flying pelican distracted him as he traveled north on Interstate 45 just south of the hurricane levee near Omega Bay. The man jerked the wheel, dropped his cell phone, and the car’s front tire left the frontage road and entered a muddy patch, which foiled his attempt to maneuver away from the lagoon.”

Bob Lutz Resurrects Buick Regal

Rendering Credit: Tagline

The same company that axed all Pontiac production in favor of Buick (HA!) announced this week Regal will be back, along with a 335 horse power edition AND a wagon variant, for sale within a year. Yes, they are trying to recapture the youth market, via Bob Lutz, and Buick. Yeah, it makes sense to them – we’ll just sit back and watch it all crumble.

Still No Deals for F1

Finally in this week’s fail boat – F1 & Bernie Ecclestone get no respect lately – first off, pretty much every major auto maker pulls out of F1 races, and now the 2010 British Grand Prix may be scrapped. Montreal has already lost out on a race this year and possibly next – after several grand prix bids collapsed, the F1 chief execs have been locked in apparently stalled negotiations about the commercial terms of a long term contract. Safe to say if F1 news keep stumbling in this direction we will all have to start watching more NASCAR. Please, don’t let that happen.
