Don’t Be So Oblivious
When you take the same route to work daily, it can almost seem as though time slips away behind the wheel. You get to a destination and can’t recall the actual drive. Did you zone out?
It can be a dangerous way to commute. Luckily, eHow has some smart tips to help not be oblivious while driving:
When coming on to a highway at a busy time, expect you might have to wait to get on. Do not decide to go on a busy road and go as slow as possible.
Do not expect other drivers to always be paying attention. If you turn in front of someone very close to where you are turning, you will be lucky not to get hit. People have distractions at times, like kids in the vehicle and won’t always be looking straight ahead.

If someone wants to pass, let them. They could be late for work or taking someone to the hospital.
Look to see if traffic is headed toward you, then pull out of a stop sign. Also do this for turns and in parking lots. Watch out for pedestrians, bicyclists, and so forth.
If driving a slower moving vehicle move as far over as possible so that other drivers can pass you.
