Centuries Old Ship Found Under WTC Site
While excavating more of what’s left of the World Trade Center “Ground Zero” devastation, something strange has occurred. A centuries-old vessel was found buried under the foundation where the Twin Towers once stood. This past Tuesday a ship, believed to be from the mid to late 1700′s, was uncovered under the 9-year-old excavation site in the financial district in Lower Manhattan.
According to news reports: By Wednesday, the outlines made it plain: a 30-foot length of a wood-hulled vessel had been discovered about 20 to 30 feet below street level on the World Trade Center site, the first such large-scale archaeological find along the Manhattan waterfront since 1982, when an 18th-century cargo ship came to light at 175 Water Street.
The area under excavation, between Liberty and Cedar Streets, had not been dug out for the original trade center. The vessel, presumably dating from the mid-to-late 1700s, was evidently undisturbed more than 200 years.
The ship had been preserved by the ground water and sediment, so now, with it exposed to the air, it’s starting to deteriorate. Archaeologists have flocked to the site to examine the hull. Has anyone seen where The Goonies were on Tuesday night?

Just thank that old ship would have never been found if it wasn’t for 9/11. Very puzzling you know
Uncharted water my little dictator? Your pathetic @#@ !@$ off on some of the most ancient and powerful wisdom any human being could have ever stumbled upon. When the first page of history was written, it already contained the potential that something that seemed as random as an open bar stool could change the course of human history; for the exponentially better or worse. When the last page of history was written, it already incorporated the potential that you will steer this country toward the worst destination it has ever seen. Apparently the smallest grain of sand or coin that may find its way into someone’s pocket may be enough of a force to alter the trajectory of the largest ship because every human being has a thread that connects the first page to its last. Perhaps during these times, there is a constant barometer, where time itself offers up lessons of where we are going, all the while a strong and unpredictable undercurrent reinforces the destination we deserve based on the decisions we all make. Apparently, the stage was set a very, very long time ago and unless you start pivoting from any core we have left there will be no safe harbor.
