Desert Man Builds Motorcycle Out Of Citroën 2CV
You’re walking alone in the desert when you come across a tortuous on it’s back, it’s belly baking in the hot sun, but you don’t help it…because you’re way too distracted by the jalopy Mad Max-esque crotch rocket some French guy built out of Citroën 2CV parts. Emile Leray, currently trapped in a remote section of the Moroccan desert with a box full of Citroën scrap, decided his only chance of escape was to build a mode of transit. People have been known to disappear while walking this treacherous landscape, so better to just construct a vehicle and get out quickly.

These photos reveal enough of the story to make it clear we’re dealing with a junkyard GOD. He not only constructed a fully-functional motor bike, but also a motor boat! We still ask the question – what’s with the French and their love of the “banana hammock”?
