Is Ikea’s Leko Their April Fool’s Joke?
Ikea, the Swedish company best known for producing cheap ass affordable furniture to college freshman plans on introducing their first automobile to the world on April 1st, 2009. But is this an April Fool’s joke to the globe? Ikea’s Leko was designed by Christophe Grozs, and believes the environmentally friendly Ikea concept is “a modular design which can operate as a coupe or as a convertible, and has the full backing of the World Wildlife Fund France.” We are guessing the vehicle will come broken down into one 4×6 cardboard box along with a tiny Allen wrench.
