Have you taken a look on Ebay ?..
I'm presently rebuilding a Tonka Crane, It's in about 25 pieces I'm waiting on the stickers fro it, Needs one more coat of paint and she will be ready for the shelf never to see dirt again !!! I love finding these old Tonka's at yard sales especially;y the old old ones reminds me of my youth I'm 43 now and have rebuilt a number of Tonka's I even made a couple remote control Dump truck with Nitro powered gas motor "Not Recommended" & working Remote dump bed. Took way to many modifications and $$ That was a one time only deal. I get more satisfaction out of getting them as close to stock as possible!!! Good luck if you want to find them . you will Try Craigs list

I have all my sons' tonkas from 40 yrs. ago and my grandsons now play with them. However, one little 5 yr old keeps asking for a excavator or backhoe. His birthday is coming and I don't know where to find one. Help! Any suggestions?? Thanks so much!

Mr. Vargo,

My boys grew up with Tonka Trucks but I gave them away years ago. Now I have a new grandson and would like him to have the real Tonka Trucks. If you are interested let me know what you have and maybe we can make a deal.

I grew up with them at one time I owned a trucking Co and had one on my desk. Things change but still in construction and have been flying Helicopters for over twenty years. At some of the factory schools we even refured to the Tonka in respect to how many built but were sad that you never made a Helicopter. Well I guess the old trucks will have to do.I As a classic car owner SS 454 convertible we see a lot of old Tonkas at the swapmeets. Keep on truckin or flyin..
