These rides are pretty fly for…well anyone who can afford thousands of dollars worth of conversion kits. Our research into this side of car culture proved that your mom can lower her minivan and rock it old school – or you can school your friends by picking them up in a phat bus, straight out of Compton, with attitude. Mad Max had his Ford Falcon, Blade Runner had it’s flying police vehicles. We go through a list of scifi concept cars and even some that are becoming a reality today. However, it’s almost 2015 and we have yet to see one flying DeLorean in the air. Next year, we may be able to check out a real-life Akira motorbike – even though fans (and some of us at Automopedia) are a little enraged about a possible live action film adaptation, starring none other than Leo DiCaprio…yeish.
